Pretty sure she was feeling the pressure of the event and playing with players she looks up to a lot including Neil. She made a 24 in the final, 3 reds with blacks, had a tricky-ish 4th red only because she was about 3 inches off the side cushion and just off straight. She just put a little snatch into her final stroke and pulled it to the jaw. Shame, that's when I saw the pressure because as you saw here she's generally smooth with the pause at the end of the last backswing.

In her first appearance in a televised World Snooker Tour event,she demonstrated good thinking ahead in breakbuilding and the composure to sink that pink and black at the end,qualities that should stand her in very good stead in professional snooker. It'd be nice to see her get the hardened top level match experience new players need to thrive. She's qualified for next month's Northern Ireland Open in Belfast.

Errr yes there is; cue sports absolutely utilise strength and power at times. “Cue power” is a common expression used to describe how much strength and timing a player can exert without losing their balance and form playing a shot. Judd Trump is a prime example of a modern player who has renowned cue power. He can use that power to play shots other top men can not. Height is also an advantage, especially on a snooker table where it means you can play more shots without the need for a rest. To that end, larger hands also enable bridging over obstructing balls easier.

Only thing I'd change in world snooker is that you have to have two feet on the ground at all times as I think it wud make the game more competitive as even the best players in the world are not all the best players with the rest 🙄????
