Thank you for the video. What is the actual weight of this motor?

I just bought the 55lb thrust . I’ve never owned one before I’ve never done any boating. I got an inflatable boat that I’m going to use it with. Whenever I connect it to the battery… is it OK to test it by turning it on if it’s not in water? With the area around the propeller clear of course.

Very innovative... I did a similar thing with my transducer last year because having two motors I wanted to be able to have my transducer in the water no matter which motor I was using... how wide is your transducer mounting bracket???

After watching it again I think my scotty mount will accommodate it.... I am definitely gonna have to take a closer look but thanks that really helped!!!

Pariente, why not a small gas engine to complement the 35? Dont you get "Range anxiety" on the lake?

Chema Rico - a couple of things. $250 vs $850. Then, nearby lakes have an “electric only” policy. I did get nervous about running out of power on windy days but the 55 has a power maximizer. In theory, 5 times longer. That’s plenty for Two days of fishing.

Hello can we reduce/adjust the size of the shaft to fit it in the suit case? Need to carry it over seas where this is is not available.

What battery you use I'm looking to by a trolling motor I think I'm going with a enduramax but haven't decided in battery

@@lobineros do you use it alot and run it pretty hard? Appreciate the reply, I just am worried to unbox and set mine up. Nervous cause I hear they have problems at times rattling and such. Thanks man, cheers from Oregon!

Mt. Hood Angler I use it on a Sundolphin which is not a heavy boat. I used to use it every weekend for a while but I haven’t been able to fish lately. If you are concerned, maybe getting an extended warranty is a good solution? That makes the overall cost higher but it would give you piece of mind. I have a Minn Kota 30 which I have used a lot without issues.

Mt. Hood Angler no problem. I have had good luck with these motors. Don’t forget to have a fuse, just in case. The minn Kota power center comes with one already in it. Just don’t run it without one (more protection)
