I just recently found out the garmin striker 4 plus traditional chirp, supports frequencies 50/77/83/200, hope this helps. So it's a perfect fit

Did you have to run separate power to your monitor or does the powerdrive supply the 12v DC power also?

Why in the hell doesn’t Mincoda put a better transducer on these motors? That are capable of down imaging and side sonar?

Helpful video. Did the striker work for you with the us2? Attempting to connect a striker to a fortrex and used the 4 pin adapter however the unit keeps reading that the transducer isnt connected. Wondering if your unit worked you on the water?

If you're going to use the built in transducer on the trolling motor you need to change the settings on the striker. Off hand I don't remember all the steps, but go to settings on the striker, and look for transducers. There you should find an option for Minn Kota and you highlight that. It will give you some sort of warning about using a different transducer but don't worry about that. I've replaced that Minn Kota with a Terrova, and replaced the striker with a Garmin Echomap, I had to make the same changes again for those.

is the transducer on your lower unit the size of a puck? because some take up most of the lower unit , which makes it hard to add a transducer for another fish finder.

Did the wiring for us2 come out of the head of the motor? Mine is currently in the head of the motor and not sure how to run it or set up to get it out of the units head

Is the side imagine and downs imaging is going working in Garmin as well ?

Today I use a Minn Kota Terrova with a Garmin, and the only thing that works is the standard sonar. Side and down imaging does not work.

Couldn't you theoretically get any $30 adapter and make a fishfinder work?

Not sure on the Lowrance with the Minn Kota. The Garmin needed an adapter to work with the Minn Kota.
