minn kota powerdrive transducer install, new item to use

after i ripped out my transducer wire because of the slacked wire, i had to come up with something else that i could use in the future without tearing up my wire again. this is from brocraft kayak transducer mount, purchased from amazon 32.00, works great, got it up to speed and in did not move. good luck

Yes sir it's hard for me to believe that mankota would have belt the power drive without the ability to properly take a transducer. But it is a pain in the ass and this is a good solution

I agree. Kind of pisses me off you spend so much money on a powerdrive with I-Pilot and Minn Kota has no solution. Why! Great solution by the way. Thanks for posting.

I’ll be looking into this mount, I’m not sure if the length will work on my V Hull, can you tell me how you mounted the pull cord to your power drive to pull the motor up ??

I just bought a replacement cord and tied it below the head. I got a Velcro strap and secure it with that when it’s up.

Brocraft Transducer Mounting Arm/Kayak Transducer Mounting Amazon's Choice in Fish Finders & Depth Finders by brocraft. As far as bending, I keep mine in the water until I’m done fishing. I’ve had it up to 24 mph and has not moved. The arm has 2 different mounts so hopefully it would work. Good luck
