You are already finishing the Basic Level of the book 'Minna no Nihongo' 50 lessons. Will you have lessons from the book minna at the nihongo intermediate level?

It's even more suprising now. "Dasu" has "to be published, to get out, to run(fever)" meanings. And the Turkish equivalent "çıkmak" has the exact same 3 meanings. SUGOI DESU NE

先生、質問があります. In example of 休みます vocab, you have used ねむそう but when we say something looks like we use either verb (stem form)+そうです or verb (plain form) +ようです. So according to me it should be ねむいそう、休んだほうがいい

Hello Mahima, ねむい is an i-adjective. When we want to say looks(adjective), we remove い then add そう hence ねむそう. This pattern is in the Lesson 43 Grammar video 🙂

Can I ask a question? I wonder why the え sound in つとめます( 0:27 ) and the え sound in えんりょなく( 7:59 ) don’t sound the same? Please help me understand this and thanks in advance.

They are actually the same sound. Can I ask what did you hear?

@@NihonGoal the second え sounds like e in English “bet” while the first え sounds like a in English “play” but a bit shorter.
