Hey I fish rivers a lot for walleye in the early spring! Just a suggestion maybe try it next time. When they follow it up like that the want it slower, i jig and pause and a lot of fish are caught on the pause. It’s helped me thought it might help you! Love the vids! Keep it up

I rolled many of ankles down at that tailrace, amazing fishing. Try bringing a surf rod and reel, you can get out 80+ yards where the other species hang out; there are some good sized chinook and lakers there.
