Minneapolis Moline U arrival and exit, start of U302 project

I bought a U, but decided to send it down the road. The winter project has come into the shop...1970 U302 teardown begins. This is the start of what looks like is turning into a major project. I hope you enjoy the video.

Andy, I love these old MM tractors as well. I am going through a 1937 ZTU front to back - Every part. 2nd restoration. Great to watch your videos. You talk my language. I will be watching to learn.

I'm looking forward to this project being such a major undertaking so I can learn too! Was always fond of these yellow tractors but there wasn't any here in western PA where I'm from or kept well hidden! Mostly Farmall's, Oliver's, Massey's, Case, Ford's, & John Deere. A walk through the local tractor salvage yard will confirm this. Well Andy, I'm definitely going to enjoy series and thanks for having us along!

Hi, just watching your video. That’s quite the Minneapolis Moline model U. The back half looks like a UTS. I have never seen one with a narrow front end. Just guessing the narrow front end came off a UTU. It’s too bad I found your video too late. I know the tractor is gone. I would’ve like to learn more. Have a nice day.

Mr. Houk, you are going to have to import one like I did. Andy if possible could you please video/ document the tear down of the hydraulic and PTO project. I could use the class and I'm there are others that will someday need the information.
