Minnesota April snowstorm brings high winds and snow. Power goes out for a few hours and the generator is needed. Hopefully this will be the last of the big snowstorm this season.

Such a treat to see this. In 1952 my family moved to Duluth. I was in the 2nd grade. My father was with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was there to study paving runways on frozen tundra at the airbase. We lived there for 18 months and then my dad was transferred to Omaha where he was the resident engineer overseeing the construction of the Strategic Air Command Center. My mother thanked the colonel for getting us into the tropics. Before we moved to Duluth we lived in Denver. But my parents were born and raised in San Antonio Tx.

I always like to put my potatoes in by March 15 here in Grayson County, Va.. They can go in early since they are an underground plant. Some other root vegetables are like that as well. It was 60*'s, dreary, rainy, yesterday (12th), thundered heavily a few times late in the night, if we had a storm I slept through it. Lake Superior gets really rough with high winds. Thank you for taking the time to share your end of the world with me. You could a lost feel the strength of the wind watching Melissa coming in, a brave soul! I look forward to summer too!

Thanjs Joe for keeping us in the loop. I think we hot him by that same storm as it came across Nova Scotia with lots of wind and snow. Can't wait for summer to get here. Fishing season is open here but the weather is not cooperating very much. I see you have become more domesticated now...eating with a real fork and not a plastic one....lol More dishes for you to wash 😄😄 Stay safe and will see you on the next one. Tom

I think I saw Tony Chachere's seasoning?. I had friends from Louisiana back in the 80's hook me up with that stuff. Love it. Now we have it here in Minnesota. I put it on everything. Crazy how those waves pushed ice in to Canal Park. Packed it solid. Thanks for the video.
