Minnesota Commercial's Belt Job -AMAZING K5LA Horn-

One of the Minnesota Commercial's main routes runs from their yard in Saint Paul, and north to Fridley, MN. The train which serves this route is called The Belt Job or Job 46.
We'll chase the Belt Job with a B36-7, the 76, as it makes its way along the Belt Line, and eventually heads back south. The 76 has an AMAZING K5LA horn, and stands out against all of the other locomotives on the Commercial's Roster. In this video we'll see it wait for the CPKC, hear its EPIC K5LA, see it switch cars, CN L506, and eventually, heading back south to the Minnesota Commercials yard. This was shot on Feb 4th, 2024 during a very mild Minnesota winter!

Course back during World War II this line through new Brighton also served the Twin Cities Army ammunition plant.

SD, how about covering the little used UP bridge over the Mississippi River in South St Paul that goes from their yard there to Pigs Eye in St Paul? Or the old industrial trackage in St Louis Park from the old Milw mainline that only went to Robert B Hill water softener parts? It might be abandoned now but last year they still were receiving one hopper car

That bridge is on my to shoot list; getting a train on it is the challenging part. I actually have *older* video published of Bridge 15, while different, its not shot very much. very nice vid... i really don't like the mainline vids... it's the same 'ol same 'ol as far as power goes (i swear if i see another widecab GEVO or another SD70 blah blah i'm gonna passout)... but this is cool... seeing an old B-36 out on the mainline is NICE... but what happened to transfer 1s caboose ... as far as CP in the twin cities goes, transfer 1 and the scrap job were the last two jobs that used a caboose
