Yeah filming fish is so awesome. I love to see the videos, because you can see so much more live, than just above of the water. It is like a different world O.O

0:14 smallmouth bass I think 0:21 school of bluegill and a few rock bass thrown in there 0:29 largemouth bass 0:35 I think it's another smallmouth bass 0:55 northern pike, many just call them "northern" 1:04 white crappie with some rock bass 1:10 nothing lol 1:15 largemouth bass 1:23 a school of baby sunnies and the ones with the single stripe across the body are either baby bass or redtail minnows. I'm not sure 1:29 some bluegill and a young largemouth bass 1:35 that's a jig lol 1:43 northern pike, later on some sunnies and a largemouth bass swim by 1:59 a majestic tree 2:05 a jig with a largemouth bass in the distance 2:11 a largemouth bass bites on a jig (nice catch btw) 2:13 largemouth bass goes for a jig 2:21 a smallmouth bass goes for a jig 2:28 some largemouth bass 2:33 largemouth bass goes for a jig, then passes it to a different fish like a football 2:41 bluegill 2:46 more bluegill (they're everywhere) 2:52 largemouth bass quickly snatches a jig 2:55 northern pike I'm no fish expert so correct me if I'm wrong

The first was a Muskie not Pike
@artificialmorphosman4 жыл бұрын
@@serenalucey349 No. It was a northern pike. There are no muskies in this video.

I’m pretty sure the first one is a large mouth bass, the small mouth bass have a black stripe across the side of their body. And large mouth bass go alone.

Just really excellent footage of the standard freshwater species of Minnesota. Deserves a lot more views than it has thus far garnered. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Tons of fish out there! I’m a Californian who moved up to Washington state but you all out there in Minnesota seem to have the best fishing period! Large mouth bass, pike, crappie, bluegill, walleyes…. Living the dream!🎣🐟

Hi there, I am a media student at high school and I was wondering if I could use a couple of seconds of footage from this video to use in my non-commercial documentary (its a school project). I would credit this account fully of course. :)

Great video! What kind of camera/housing did you use?
@lahrcm10 жыл бұрын
It's a GoPro Hero3 with the standard housing, SRP magenta filter, and an Ikelite Pro-2800 LED video light. I'll add it to the description. Thanks for asking.

Curtis Lahr Hi great video. I want my videos to look as clear and lit as yours. How do you add a magenta filter and the Ikelite video light?

No have not really tried up there, I hear the walleye are really hurting this year in that lake. Its a bit of a drive plus I prefer to fish on lakes with little or no people and feel like im in the middle of nowhere :-)
