@@CarlMadsen you’re welcome! 😊 very fun game to watch! We finally got a bunch of goals after a couple pretty low scoring ones! Some beauty goals as well!

@@pdubcentral We were in attendance for the season opener, and banner raising, very exciting! We came back two days later for a Wild match and the banner is proudly displayed.

@@CarlMadsen that’s awesome! I am counting down the days until the Edmonton game! So jealous of all you guys who have a team in your city! 😭 Haha but I love hearing from people who have gone, and amazing to get to go to a home opener! That’s the dream lol 😀

Definitely a game Minnesota needed over the controversial game on Wednesday. No way for a champion team to put a controversy in the rear-view mirror like a RESOUNDING victory!

Nice job ladies.

I was there at the game, Minnesota played as perfect as it gets, meanwhile the Toronto stars were really really not good. I swear that Larocque and Fast were on the ice for every single goal against. Nurse/Maltais I almost didn't notice. Gotta go up from here! We will be back!

Why was the open net goal not called as an icing? Still a great win by Minnesota but the non-icing called perplexed me as it looked fairly straightforward.

Shot on net missed but MN was first to puck, so icing gets waived off

@@TheChillee Must be a slightly different rule than the NHL where, if you miss the net, it's icing. I want to go to a PWHL game but they are always sold out so far. next year, I am going to get down to one (or many) as I really enjoy them. Great hockey!!

@@viewfromthehighchair9391 Wow I think you’re right I did not catch that. It does appear as if Flanagan is ahead of Cava there. Now if Flanagan was on the left side of the ice, and the opposition is skating down the right and will thus be first to the puck then it would make sense. I will say, I did have to slow that down to confirm so maybe at live speed they missed it? But Toronto could have always challenged it! The only other thing is it looked like Flanagan had stopped skating so that might be why they didn’t call it as they deemed she had not reached the hash marks yet and then stopped. It is the same rule in the NHL. If the opposing team is first to the hash marks there is no icing.

@@pdubcentral Let's not discuss NHL refereeing because I'll just get upset. LOL Well argued though. I had considered the race to the puck thing but didn't consider whether the ref would have called off the icing because the Sceptre player stopped skating. That is an excellent point.

Minnesota were definitely the better team the whole game. You gotta hand it to them.

great game for Minnesota but also that might have been one of the worst announcers I've ever heard in my entire life

Announcer bias was pretty awful today.

Toronto needs a new, younger goaltender, Campbell can't move like she used to
