I haven't seen any Monarchs this year. Just a bit of trivia. When the first Europeans came to this continent there were no bees. Squash in the new world were pollinated by moths. I don't know why that is pertinent, but a odd fact i discovered a decade ago. We are interdependent on insects. Thank you Rich.

Our summer pasture is featuring wild bergamot right now. I picked some to make a bouquet. I don’t think ours get that tall but they are competing with many other plants. Take care.🌺

Our plants are fairly protected near the woods. I would bet your plants have more wind and weather, which will keep them shorter. Thanks for stopping by Annette! Cheers!
