Minnesota Renaissance Festival 2023 - Shakopee, MN

It's time to visit one of our favorite fall events, the Minnesota Renaissance Festival! @MNRenaissanceFest
There are few changes this year we wanted to walk through to help you. First, changes to the parking. You can either buy parking passes online for $10, or take a park-and-ride option for $5/person. You can pay for parking on site, without pre-paying, but it's $30. Sometime the park and ride locations change, so check the Renaissance Festival's website - renaissancefest.com/
We took our little guy, Morty, with us this year. Before you go, it helps to register your dog online and bring the right paperwork before you leave.
Throughout the day we found food and entertainment a plenty -
New for us was the ‪@FandazziFireCircus‬, fire dancers.
We also caught up with ‪@thewashingwellwenches4560‬, #JohnnyPheonix, ‪@TortugaTwins‬, and the ‪@vikingencampment‬
We also had a stop at the #VegetableJustice for some insult humor.
The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is weekend in Shakopee, MN from Mid-August through early October.

I'm anxious - we bought the Feast of Fantasy tickets, which comes with a parking pass (I think because there was a parking pass on the last page of our Feast tickets). Also it should be interesting because my husband recently blew out his knee and so we had to rent a scooter for $65. Thanks for your video - I didn't know dogs can come too - I thought there was a designated dog day.

We hope by anxious you mean excited, otherwise there's no reason to be worried. The staff at the Fest are fantastic, usually very helpful in our experience. Sorry about your husband's knee, hopefully y'all can still have a great time. The dog thing can be confusing, they have dog weekend events like "Woofstock." For those they have extra vendors selling pet products, or dog races and other events, shows, or demonstrations. Thanks for watching and glad our videos are helpful!

Yes, dogs can ride the bus. The whole fest is very dog friendly. A lot of vendors have water bowls outside their booths. Have a fun visit!

I always thought you guys should show more of the crafters at the RenFest the shows get old after 1

That's a good question to ask. The main reasons we don't is because some vendors, particularly crafters, have signs posted "no photography or video." They don't want their ideas used elsewhere. Even if they don't post signs we occasionally get the "look" or asked to stop. So, we basically decided to not make it a guessing game. Recording in shops is a lot more acceptable in places like theme parks.
