What i don't like is, at the beginning of the season, on 97.1 most of the shows picked the tigers to have a losing season. Now, suddenly they're acting like it's playoffs or bust? They will probably make it to 85 or 86 wins or even 87, which would be around a 10 win improvement from last year. They are giving fans a reason to be excited, a reason to want to buy the merchandise and go to the games next year, and buy the season tickets, just like the lions fans after the lions won 9 games, and almost made the playoffs.

@zachgonyea3309 on this show, they were saying the tigers should trade skubal at the deadline. Which, if they had done that, I don't believe the tigers would still be in a position to possibly make the playoffs. The tigers traded players that had been signed to one year deals, jack flaherty and mark canha and the backup catcher. None of the four players, flaherty, canha, Carson Kelly, chafin, and you could throw gio in there too if you want to were gonna be part of the longterm future of the tigers, skubal is.
