Minnesota Twins NEED Carlos Correa to save their season

With Plouffe being so candid and even a bit refreshingly critical when he does Twins games on TV…I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not brought back on the broadcasts next season no matter which network they are on. It never happens with any of their other analysts when it comes to criticizing Rocco or the organization.

Ownership sucks, management and front office sucks, the players are soft (very few vocal leaders, just how Rocco likes it). Thats what I think.

Ownership stays. Dave St Peter stays. Front office probably stays however Joe might sacrifice them if they think it’ll help ticket sales even tho their spending budget hurts more sales than anything. This team has no future. Not with the people at the top in charge.

Twins at Houston in Wild Card Series. Beat Angels 2 of 3 need a sweep of Reds. They will get last spot over Tigers and Red Sox. Right now it doesn't really matter who the manager is with this ownership.

Its going to take more than Correa to get into the playoffs, sorry but not sorry. The other teams don't have to win to get into the last wild card spot, the Twins just got to keep losing.

@@Razorbacks1 I would bet the Pohlad's will trade Correa and Buxton then start a rebuild, use the collapse at the end of season as the excuse. Unfortunately, I would bet the ownership group would bring back Fail-vey as he can continue building the minor league system .

Judge, Soto, Ohtani, Witt Jr. are superstars. Royce is not a superstar. He’s a very good and talented player with a lot of potential who has never played a full season in the majors and is hitting .240 this season.

Way too early to make an assessment like that. Judge for instance had an amazing rookie campaign and then fell into some injury plagued seasons where Yankees fans were questioning their entire team.

@@holker_this The only cancer that is consistently plaguing the twins are the people that own them and sign the paychecks. That’s it. Begins and ends with that. You could have 25 toxic players on your team and you’d still have a better chance to win than with a Pohlad as an owner.
