I wonder if Dave Stieb and Randall Cunningham, the star hurlers who returned to their respective leagues in the late '90s, ever crossed paths while building houses in Nevada.

I’ll never forget watching this game. My father n law is a big bama can, and he was staying at our house from Mobile AL. He was talking smack to me all week leading up to it, and we watched it down in my man cave, surrounded by Ohio State memorabilia. He looked like he had seen a ghost when Zeke ran it in for a TD. I’ll never forget this game. Here’s hoping Buckeyes can do it again!! Go Bucks!!

Jon's words near the 38-minute mark ring a lot less true after April 13, 2022, when Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw was pulled 7 innings and just 80 pitches into a perfect game. Sure, he was 34 at the time, but you just don't do that.

Jrue Holiday is like Jose Ramirez bro… and as a Guardians fan I do not say that lightly. The same way Ohtani said “I’m most excited to see Jose” at the all star game, Jrue has that effect on stars. Just a consummate pro and an absolute stud who night in night out gonna do all the little things. Never MVP numbers, but no one can question their value.

haven’t beaten Ohio State since… including blown leads and incredible mismanagement. PSU fans have it the worst

I mean, that was just so blatantly offside. All of the other examples you showed were marginal at best. You couldn’t even see the ball lmao Anyways love your stuff Jon

Aw man, this story sucks so much. If the Blazers wouldn't have this championship they would be the most cursed franchise ever.

I love Shaq. I’m a huge fan. Shaq did not work hard off the court and got lazy. That is his right. Kobe spoke his mind and that was his right. No big deal.

This is like the least secret base video I've ever seen. Snarky remarks snarky remarks directed at players down and out just looking to try and fulfill their dreams by playing football for a living. Secret base takes its shots but usually at owners or other people who desperately deserve it not at run-of-the-mill players

"TIME July 15, 1929 12:00 In Lakeview, Chicago district, a boy, seven, fell off his front steps, was taken to a hospital. “What’s your name?” asked the interne. Said the youngster: “Orange.” A nurse brought him an orange. ”What’s your name?” asked she. “Apple,” replied the seven-year-old. Brows knit, the nurse looked in the telephone book, summoned Orange Apple Sr., father of the child." There's also mentions of Orange Apple Jr getting a baby sister named June Apple - once in Chicago in 1935, and again in Georgia in 1947 (this time, Orange Apple Jr is said to be 6 years old) so either somebody had space to fill in a Georgia newspaper in 1947 and remembered the name from 12-18 years earlier, or these people kept having kids, alternating between the same two names for a period of at least a decade. Or there were two Orange Apples Sr and they coincidentally both chose to name their first child Orange and their second child June.

I am a member of the Kadarius Toney Fan Club. But, I don't watch NFL....so I missed a lot of the bad. It looks like he has an NFL catch % of 71? Isn't that pretty decent? Or is it just short depth of target and he's dropping gimmes? As I said, I've not watched but based on this video I have the notion his drops just happened to have catastrophic consequences due to luck. Anyhow, it's kind of sad it didn't work out for him. It was the same way at Florida for the first three years. You saw the flashes of brilliance but never got to see real production. Then it all fell into place.

Doesnt the change in OT rules (that first took effect in practice in 2012) from "first score wins" to "both teams get a shot then next score wins unless first score is TD" change the calculus of deciding on punting/not punting in OT?
