Funny that Jim Harbaugh and his philosophy was there for 8 years and they didn't win until JJ was in the QB room. Didn't even sniff the playoffs until JJ stepped on campus. JJ beat out Cade, the took TCU to the wire then won a natty. The JJ hate is real.

Yet, before McCarthy went to Michigan, under the same coach and system, Michigan couldn’t get over the hump. MIchigan had a great defense and run game. They did not have great pass blocking or receivers. JJ was more responsible for Michigans success tan people like to admit..

If Jim had had JJ in 2016 he may have one a NC much earlier and likely been back in the NFL much earlier. JIm had a run of middling QBs at Michigan: Jake Rudock, Wilton Speight, Shea Patterson, Joe Milton and Cade McNamara. He got over the hump with JJ. JJ is the real deal and the key factor in us getting past PSU, OSU and Alabama in Rose Bowl. JJ led the first win at the HorseShoe by a Wolverine team since Drew Henson in 2000...a 22 year drought. Don;t sleep on JJ. He will thrive for the Vikings.

Too much credit or too much blame goes with playing the QB position. Guess what ? Patrick Mahomes who is one of the best ever in my opinion but KC scored ZERO points in the 2nd half of the AFC Championship game vs the Ravens but KC's defense saved the day. It's a team game. My prediction on JJ is not very hopeful but Vikings had to try something because NOBODY will ever win anything with Cousins as a QB
