@@discgolf2479 I expected that but there is logic. One the salary cap would be super freed up for free agents on the D line. Also, Darrrisaw is not available to often. The chance of you paying him 25 million a year and he misses multiple key games is likely. If we could get 80 cents on the dollar in a LTs talent of Darrisaw and he played all the time then we would have saved the cap and have a possible number one D.

@@discgolf2479 That is logical too, just another way of looking at it. I think Darrisaw is fantastic when healthy and like him a lot. He would demand a decent draft pick in a trade and save a bunch of money. I wouldn’t be upset if we resign him and get a deal done too. He is a quality player. Just injured prone and missing games when we need him most.

LT is one of those positions I wouldn’t get cute with. Unless some team is offering you a Tunsil type of deal, you gotta keep that cornerstone LT cause they are hard to find and even harder to develop.
