Maybe so, but you have to keep in mind that the position of CB is the position that you'll find the " least amount of skill ".in all of football. Sure you got guys who were good tacklers, fast, could jump high, but you've never really seen someone with high game IQ " AND " the ability to simutaneously keep up with receivers while watching the QB to see when he's throwing the ball. They're all taught it's ok to have your back to the QB because you can just put your hands up when you see the receiver tries to pull the ball in, and this is horrible

Lol, the 1 thing I do agree with you on is Corner is one of the hardest positions to play. I've been watching football for close to 50yrs now and I've yet to see anyone at that position who I'd consider great. Even the ones who are considered great get called for a lot of holding penalties because they lack the true skill to guard a receiver, this is 1 reason why the term " he's a shut down corner " is a literal joke.

It's uncanny how they manage to do that, especially in big games, usually the way AdamBarlow81describes it. Well, what difference does it make HOW many games you win by one score? I know it's not a good business model. But... If you win the SB... no one will care how much you beat your opponents by. Whoever scores the most points, wins, EVERY time. You only need to score "1" point more than all of your opponents to legitimately win the SB. 22 SB's have been decided by one score or less.

I don't have a dog in this fight with these 2 teams but I think it's pretty impressive how both QBs from each team have revived their careers. I can remember when Gino Smith first came into the league and there was lots of hype about him but he just struggled and couldn't get it together with the Jets but has found a home in Seattle. And the same for Sam Darnald lots of people wrote him off too but he is have a spectacular season with Minnesota. Congrats to both QBs.

Games like this is why the Vikings need to pay Sam Darnold. Watching the highlights don’t do justice as to how gritty the game was. Sam has been his best when we needed him, for fans to think that JJ McCarthy can be the same guy, or better, is ridiculous. That’s not his make up, that’s not what he was asked to do in college, that’s not who he is. Sam has carried the team and has given us the best Vikings QB play since 2009 Brett Favre. The team needs to pay him and move on from the McCarthy, you draft guys and hope that they play at Sam’s level, and we have seen him do it, you need to sign in if you’re Minnesota.

I’ve been a Viking Fan since 1976 . Since Fran Tarkenton & the Purple People Eaters. The last time I was this excited for the Vikings was in 1998 . They went 15-1 in the regular season . Randall Cunningham, Cris Carter & Randy Moss . I think this Vikings Team can win the # 1 seed in the NFC and make it into the Super Bowl .
