I've been a Lions fan for nearly 40 years. I love this team, but the Vikings are playing great. This game could go either way. Hats off to the Vikings for a stellar season. Having said that, I hope the Lions absolutely stomp 'em!

Playing the Lions in Detroit. Tough place against an excellent team. How to win? The Vikes need to jump on the Lions and make them play catch up the entire game. The Vikes defense - bend but don't break! The Vikes MUST be physical and control the line! Pressure on Goff is the key! The Vikes offense - shred the secondary and attack the ends and corners. Smart ball...no turnovers or penalties. Unlikely, but I hope the Lions hit the field flat. Can the Vikes win? Yes! 31-24.

The lions O line is the team. If we can get to goff they are in serious trouble. He has a clean pocket constantly, and that is the whole strength and how they get the screens consistently. Gotta get the pass rush and hands up quick to stop and block those little screens. Force them to be one dimensional like the Texans did ( in the first half) and he will throw some bad picks.
