I get that when people see the Vikings 9-2 record, they are expecting a highly polished and consistently high-performing team. Instead, they see the Vikings stumble their way to another win and assume they will either not make the playoffs or get demolished in the playoffs. (Perhaps they are reminded of the 2022 Vikings) However, who is going to destroy them? Aside from the Lions, the other NFC playoffs caliber teams are also stumbling and inconsistent week to week. They actually have a fair chance at making the NFC championship (unless they play the Lions).

Teams can pass on the NFC playoff teams. They can pass on the Lions, Packers, Eagles. If the Vikings get blown out in the playoffs it will be because Sam Darnold commits multiple turnovers.

It's why they're the top run defense in the league and mid 20's in pass. Teams are FORCED to pass. THey have to pass more than they do against other teams. Chiefs are also in trouble if they don't clean it up. We aren't delusional in our fandom. Lions have increasing injuries on the defensive side. It's possible they're in real trouble. The bears had/ have major coaching issues, a rookie QB, and a really really good defense. The Vikings have great offensive weapons, a solid O'line, and a qb who has played well so far but is questionable. While also having one of the best rushing defenses that can get passed by almost anyone. Defenses win championships. We don't believe the Vikings defense is good enough to get them through, or very far.
