All of this is why I've been telling people since October of his last year at Michigan, this kid is the #1 player in the draft. People thought he was a 3rd round pick then. Fans still think he can just hand off, can't throw. He's elite at every level physically & mentally. He's the best QB to come out since Burrow. I was telling people in my personal life, if the Vikings don't find a way to come out of this draft with McCarthy, I'm going to need to take a break for a while. Obviously there's going to be growing pains. But this kid is Superbowls. Fans need to have perspective & patience as he develops, he just turned 22. But it won't be long before McCarthy & KOC are in the big game & win it.

Exactly. Could not agree more. I think Vikings fans who dont know will be pleasantly surprised how good JJ will be. I think hes the best QB in the draft. Yes Jayden Daniels included. To me JJ plays like a mixture of Tom Brady/Matt Ryan, except he has a cannon for an arm, athletic, and can do the off script when the play breaks down stuff well.

JJMccarthy is our starter and its not even a thing. Sam Darnold will be Franchise Tagged and traded to the Raiders. No doubt about it. 12-5 season for the Vikings with a TOUGH schedule and winning NFC North. Playoff run coming next year.

Hey Judd, Mackey and Declan! I posted this on yesterday's video but just gonna put it here in case there's a bigger chance of you reading it. Here's an idea for QB Cesspool for next season (I haven't done the math on it so it could be way off base). What if, once the regular season is over, all the scores are reset. However, the order in which the regular season of the QB Cesspool ended in determines "home field advantage" for the whole duration of the playoffs. So the person who finished with the lowest average QBR after the regular season concluded (first place "winning"), gets to pick first in every round of the playoffs. Then the person who came in second, then the last who has to play "away" through the playoffs and settle for the last pick each round. The person who comes in third after divisional championship games is eliminated before the Superbowl. That way I think there will be more of a chance to get to the superbowl weekend where there's still a chance to flip the table, as there are fewest playoff games overall so each week can swing the average in a bigger way. Just a thought. Love the show, keep up the good work!

I love Thorsday and I get that you can't take the same guys every mock draft, but this one is trash. In a draft this deep at RB, for a team that couldn't convert 3rd and short on the ground, you take a 5'9", 208 pound nobody who's never faced a top team?! Then you double down by taking a QB who will never see the field when there is a 230+ pound short yardage, goal line RB staring you in the face?! I get that it's a 5th rounder, but we don't have enough picks to be throwing them away. This would be worse than Kwesi's first draft. Perhaps if you actually scrolled more than one line down you might see the true depth in this class. You guys are missing some serious gems. At CB look at Jaylin Smith from USC. At RB everyone is sleeping on Jordan James from Oregon.

Why are so many people confident with McCarthy? Michigan was a run heavy offense, that seemed to emphasize alot of safe and short passes. Also, the Vikings haven't drafted well recently, why are we sure they got it right on McCarthy? Personally, I'm skeptical. I hope McCarthy proves me wrong.

Because of his arm talent, mentality and work ethic. And KOC signed off on drafting him, when he's particular about his QB prospects. Michigan was run heavy because that is what Harbaugh does. He could have prime Manning and he'd have a run heavy offense, the scheme wasn't an indictment about JJs ability.
