Amazing as always. But... I think I caught a cut at 1:55. There is a blend between two scenes with slightly different perspective and I got the impression that the camera is less stabalized afterwards. Is this where you removed some expensive equipment before taking a puck to the drone? (Hint to others: You can use "." and "," on your keyboard to move along single frames to see it.) This is no critique. I just feel releaved to find that you are working with human methods and not actually an invincible ephemeral being that flies through our world.

Wondered about this too. I thought perhaps they'd hit something and the drone isn't as stable for the rest of the shot, but this idea makes more sense. Now I'm thinking of similar moments in previous videos @jaybyrdfilms videos, and realizing those were edits too. If anything it makes the vid _more_ impressive. Meaning they flew at least part of the route multiple times with very similar alignment.
@svenlakemeier3 жыл бұрын
Why switch there, with a clock in shot? There are better angles to cut, I guess the blend there has other reasons.
@thejoandonly3 жыл бұрын
@@svenlakemeier the clock didn't changed time, did it? I'm not sure but even on 0,25 I can't see the clock showing another time. But yes, there were better angles to blend/cut. Anyway, it's still an amazing work!😅
@svenlakemeier3 жыл бұрын
@@thejoandonly that's my point, if there was a change in equipment needed why do it where a clock is visible that needs to be reset after the changeover

I think he forgot to warp stabilize (or other types of software stabilization post effect) for that section. This is how the raw drone looks like, the stabilization you see early on is actually software based. No drone flies that smooth by default.

Different vibe this one. The folks 'see' the drone instead of pretending it isn't there. Also, feels like a different operator, and/or drone to your other videos. More aggressive flying indoors. Good job in that environment - must have been tough with the snow and wind there.

@@jonathanviterise1681 the stabilization is done through reelsteady software. It doesn’t look like that. The drone used is only like 300-400.
