I loved Toon Town in Disney World when I was a kid. In fact thats the first thing I can recall to my first visit in Disney World. I was devastated when I heard they were closing it. So many good rides have been closing and Disney replacing it with new ones. I just wish there was a way to bring Toon Town back.

Never made the cookies, but I wanted to make that pop up birthday cake in the oven so bad XD Since you remember the house vividly, by any chance, do you remember the family photos on Minnie's wall? You can sort of see it at 0:54 of this video. There is a description at the bottom left corner of this portrait, but I haven't seen any clear photos of what that description says. I was just wondering if that portrait is also Minnie's parents?

I remember one time when I was about 6-7 years old, I was in line with my family to see minnies house. All of a sudden a rat/mouse (could tell it was running so fast) and everyone started screaming and all my dad said was "guys calm down its just minnie! its her own house!" 😂😂

I went here as a little girl and was so enchanted by ToonTown, but especially Minnie's house. I still think about it At 30. Naturally, as an adult, I couldn't wait to show this to my ultra girly, Minnie crazed 3 year old who I promised we would go one day. To come and show her this and read it's gone is seriously such a disappointment. Does anyone know why they got rid of it? Seriously, they should be ashamed.

Melanie Pike I agree 100% as a kid I remembered going through their houses being my favorite thing ever! Then 10+ years later when I finally got to go back I was soo disappointed it was removed and replaced with circus stuff!! 😡

Jenna yes! I still can't get over it. I know it sounds a little silly, but when I think about it, it makes me so angry I wanna cry a little bit. I don't feel like I'll be able to get over it til someone gives me an explanation lol. Even then, I don't think it'll help. There was just nothing like it. what a waste. I wish there was a way we could get enough people together to petition them to bring it back!

It was discontinued for the expansion of Fantasyland. Unfortunately for me it was both a curse and a blessing. I've made some memories in the newer parts of Fantasyland but lost the ability to visit old ones from my childhood. A petition causing any impact is far more than wishful thinking at this point. They wouldn't listen to something as trivial as that considering its been already torn down back in 2011.

OMG I just came back from Magic Kingdom and I was long time looking for Toontown Mickey's and Minnie's house because we went there backing in 1995 and my Mom and whole family loved .We were chocked and disappointed to know they removed this historical adorable attraction for the Fantasyland expansion . I think that's sad and stupid because this is the base and the main thing for the whole Disney World . Its hard to think about all the Disney World without Mickey's place that's very sad this is the kids and adults museum and should stays at Magic Kingdom forever . Lets everybody write a letter and petition to come back and relocate this lovely adorable Toontown .

I was just there this year for my high school senior trip I am a high school senior I watched both your videos Mickey mouses house to I heard it went away so I was sad to hear that when I went back this year. This was a part of my childhood thanks Walt Disney for taking a piece of my childhood away I wNt with my family in 2010 over the summer.
