There are several manufactures who sold this body: Leica AF C1, Nikon Tele-Touch, and the Minolta. I think Minolta made all three. I have the Nikon version and it a terrific casual point and shoot. Carry it in my car - always ready.

Hello, Thank you for your comments. If you mean how do you test the focus mech then you need to look carfully at the lens as you trip the shutter. You should see it move a little, it should move by differing amounts when pointed at subjects of differing distance (you can cover the AF window to "trick" it into focussing at infinity. If you mean focus lock then point the camera at the subject in the centre, press the shutter button halfway and you will see the LED at the edge of the viewfinder light up, so long as you maintain the presure on the shutter button you can recompose while retialing focus on you subject.
