Thank you for correcting errors with text by writing that film is attached from the top. This is one of the great advantages of Autocord. The film plane is kept more level against the exposure frame that way. Together with superb optics, we here find the explanation for why the modest Minolta Autocord takes pictures that can be compared with the most expensive, best Rolleiflex TLRs.

One of the best TLR’s for sure , hence owning two incase one ever gives up the ghost . The lens is superb .

I really like the Autocords, alas both of mine have developed shutter problems. My Yashica Mat LM, on the other hand, refuses to give up the ghost and trudges on relentlessly.
