Minolta Rokkor PF MC 55mm f/1.7 Review

Now that the other faster Minoltas like the 50, 55, and 58 1.4's are creeping up in price, the 55m 1.7 is an absolute steal, and is simply perfection stopped down to 5.6. Which we all know we need to use a lot more than we do 1.4. Too bad I can't post a shot I took. There is simply nothing the image is lacking in.

I got this lens for free from a Indonesian red barret who wanted me to use his old stuff. Sadly he probably already sold the Leica and X-700 he had with it. I am now using it on my Fujifilm XM-1 but I also have a A7 that I need to buy a MD-NEX adapter for. What is that battery grip by the way. my main complaint is the batter usage of the A7.

had my eye on this one but wanted to know if the footage shown is actually as-is when you shot it. If not was there vignetting that you had to digital zoom out of to get a clear frame?

Hi, I have the exact same lens, got it from ebay for about $30. It is a great lens and I also adapt it to my sony A6000. But I have problems with infinity focus, do you have the same problem too?

Hi. I've not noticed anything problems with infinity focusing but I'll try and get some more testing done this weekend and get back to you.
