I learned this solo on guitar a number of years ago. I’m not the least bit surprised you bailed on that crazy chromatic run down then back up to the Am, I never figured it out either. Way too few people appreciate how great Django was, nicely done.

@pauld7704 Thank you! ☺I played that chromatic run on the first three strings and then a diminished arpeggio. I do not know how Django actually played it. For the video itself, it was more about not taking myself too seriously because it was a "playback" of my recording and not a live performance.

Yes, you can say that but usually the tuning is "ukulele" like (as you put a capo on the 5th fret of the guitar) There are also string the allowed you to have the normal guitar tuning (aquila red for example)
