No, it comes from a gig with Roby Lakatos big band (bootleg). Much much better concert than the official CD with wdr big band. Unforgettable version of djangology or Belleville, for example.

The composition of Minor Swing (by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli) on its own is the masterpiece ... although I do not underestimate the exceptional interpretation of Birelli Lagrene.

Wonderful guitar work. I know everyone has his or her own particular taste and we are all individuals but I can't imagine why this got one dislike. What is to dislike with Bireli Lagrene playing his buttocks off with his guitar?

Да теперь я понимаю, почему Бонамасса, называл французского гитариста Бирели Лангрена в числе своих любимых, а Маклафлин говорил о нем как о"гитарном феномене". Невозможно научиться играть как Джанго или Бирели, не просто механически перебирать струны, а звучать так неподражаемо...
