My problem with virtually all the T11 DDs is that they are all minor upgrades at best. Meanwhile, the BBs get massive gun caliber buffs, the CVs are insane, and the cruisers get stupid DPM upgrades.

Tbh I don’t play T11 DDs. The French line is just so strong and fun. Fantasque and Terrible feel like strong T9s. Mogador feels like a S tier T10 DD Kleber and Marceau feel like T11-12 You just have to prioritize preserving your health pool into the late game because your 50kt speed, high dpm, improved saturation, and yolo torps become a mountain to climb as soon as there are less boats to shoot at you

Get the Sherman and Marceau. They’re both silly, overpowered ships. More like T11s. Sherman is like a light cruiser with SAP, American Smoke, Hydro, no citadel, and doesn’t take full damage from AP. It’s brain dead. It’s so easy to use and to get huge damage numbers with. Marceau is also overpowered. 50kts, yolo torps, high DPM, and French saturation. Just preserve your health pool into mid-late game and you become a mountain to climb. Then get Black if you want to be a cap bully or Tromp if you want a unique play style with air strikes.

I had gotten the Humphreys but wasn’t overly impressed. I sold it and waited until I had the enough credits to get the Yamigiri! That’s a really fun DD to play. The optional torpedoes that you can switch in game makes it a lot more satisfying. Thanks for the video PQ. o7

On the note of gunboat DDs, i would love to see a look at the Akizuki. Most ships looked at are T9+, and would like to see more ships at T8, and the Akizuki is right there as a Gunboat DD

Yeah you have more HP but your ship is now big as Kleber. DPM on guns and torps is the same as gearing. So you only get better shell velocity and f button. Is it worth it? No.

I recently started using halsey on my gearing. I have gotten a few double strikes with him. Having 5.3km conceal is nuts. I think a legendary gearing might get down to 5?
