Captain Andy, I always wanted to explore the swamp but never made it a priority. Thank You for taking us along‼️ Beautiful editing and video‼️ My daughter spent 3 or 4 days there around 2015 but I didn’t get to see many pictures. Did You get to ride an Airboat or do they allow them there?

That's a cool place. My brother(who worked on the causeway bridges)and I, rented a canoe and paddled around for a couple hours back in the mid 80's. If your up at the Waycross entrance of Okefenokee, check out the logging museum. There's an air dried hunting dog stuck in a log from decades ago. That place would make a great video MM!

Ive heard them called skunkape here. Ive never saw anything like it but heard stories of hunters losing whole packs of dogs and when they go to find where they last heard the dogs, it would smell horrible amd they blame a creature called skunkape. The wildest story ive heard and believe is from my old friend we call Judge, RIP. His father was raised on billys island and while going to town with his father, by boat, they saw a gator fighting a bear. Ive also heard of bulls fighting bear here. Alot of ppl forget we have black bears 400lb+. My dads friend held the archery record in ga for awhile it was around 500lb
