One easier option would be to exercise caution so that various identity groups too can feel attached to the common Hindu agenda being proposed; they should not feel their interests being violated / harmed....... is that going to be more difficult than attracting 20% voters??

By what logic or mathematics is 15 % greater than 85%. Why are everyone after policies that please the 15 while suppressing or taking for granted the 85? Only in India democracy and majority interests are taken for a ride yet everyone wants the 85% votes. So much so that you have laws that cripple Hindus and their religious institutions, education system, places of worship, reservation policies as though caste exists only for Hindus. When a political party names itself as Muslim league it is secular but you are not suppose to ask for votes based on religion. So on and so forth. Name it and you have an example. It is very unfair to be a Hindu in India. It is like the whole system is designed to be against you as a community. Btw, the only thing I care most before voting is to see who will be good for my beliefs and religious freedom. After all everyone must look after their survival. To me development comes secondary. First comes my liberty to practice my faith as promised in the constitution without any partiality. If equality is the goal treat everyone equally. Take mosques and churches under govt control. Else free temples from govt control. Law is same for everyone.

Any solution for BJP to also get these minority votes? There has to be a way, I mean so much development like in Kashmir,UP, everyone is benefiting, or is there no way to get their votes? If there is no way, then stop appeasement politics for them

no way... for them religion is over everything else... what goes for Hinduism also goes against it in a way... the option to question and choose. A Hindu can keep country/development/ region or some other ideology above religion but others never do.

Sure, but the ideology of Hindutva will remain as long as enemies exist for Hinduism.
