Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had already taken a deep breath & prepared for a reality check on how far I have to go. This was actually a reality check on how far I have come. Thank you sincerely for helping so many of us get on a better path & start inching, crawling, walking, running or sprinting. I sometimes listen to the same videos over & over just to override all the influence around me as no one I personally know seems to be interested in doing this work just yet.❤

I have $50k in cash in the bank and my car is paid off and I have $19k in equity in the car if I needed to sell it today. I still don't own a home and I feel broke as anyone else. Like my net worth is a sneeze in the air compared to these people that have $500k in the bank. I came from zero and still feels like I'm at zero.
@Bubbasizer
@Bubbasizer Жыл бұрын
50k in the bank is incredible, most people don't even have $1000-$2000 saved... Take some of that 50k and deploy it into something that will net a return like an index fund or ETF.

Save another 20k then use the 50k for a down payment on a home, the down payment will give you instant equity and you'll be home owner turning your home into a wealth generator, then just keep saving and living like your broke

Lesson learned I can enjoy driving it now because I own it outright ( well until it starts to breakdown 😂). Future will only pay cash for a car( new is overrated ) I’m over trying to impress people; it just needs to be dependable to get me from point A to point B

Am I the only person who doesn't necessarily budget but is still able to save, give and invest. First thing I do with my check is put 10% aside for giving, 15 percent for investing and then pay my bills. I spend whatever i have and if I have anything left over it goes towards saving. Next month do it all over again. 53:46

I bought my first home in 2006 when the market crashed in 08 I lost almost 50k in value. Thankfully due to my job making payments on time was not an issue but by the time I sold it in 2020 I barely got enough money to cover the remaining loan value and closing costs. I definitely lost a lot of money from it. Really didn't want to buy ever again but I kept having issues with neighbors when renting so bought again. Thankfully, great interest rate and so far the market in my area seems stable.
