Do not worry about what other will eat or not. Eat what you like I my self will not flour torts but I corn torts. Tort is short for tortilla shells. I worked in a restaurant for 7 years and we called them torts for short.

I go camping about every weekend and eat a lot of freeze dried food. Usually it’s Mountain House but I just bought a bunch of Peak Refuel meals. Have you tried the Peak yet?

Yes matter of fact I have a video or two on peak refuel. I actually prefer peak refuel over mountain because you get more food in peak refuel and it tastes great!

Very cool ration! Is this brand / company still around selling rations ? My only complaint would be that they didn't include jelly, peanut butter or another spread for the crackers. I guess maybe because it's intended for cold weather & the peanut butter would freeze. Seems like a jelly packet would have been nice.

Hi Tracy. I have a ton of these too. I have eaten a bunch as well. They're pretty hit-or-miss. The spaetzle one was excellent, though. When you go to rehydrate any of BDB's stuff, go easy on the water to start. My experience is that most of his stuff only needs half of the recommended water.
