Great video, in depth and knowledgeable as always, especially with the mercury and modern battery overexposure compensation

The colourminotar lens is a gem, and reputed to have been designed by an ex Leica optics designer.

When you use a flash in the hot shoe it pushes a small tab in and this limits you to 1/30 sec only

Good Video! Concerning that battery. How to create a look-a-like with 5.6 volts in 2023. I stacked 4 AG5 cells, or LR754, or 393's on top of each other. Cellotape and a strip of wound paper (18 mm wide) make it the perfect shape of the V27PX battery. The external dimensions must be 13 mm in diameter (max) and 20 mm length. Preferably 5.6 Volts, but the stack measures 5.8 Volts (a little older cells were used). It works fine. The endurance will be lesser of coarse, it is smaller. But we have this pocket gadget working a gain.
