Belarus Tractors are considered as the best tractors in Pakistan. We the Pakistani farmers love to have these tractors in our field.

I grew driving a Belarus tractor. We used to make hay and feed hay to the cows. Many many times I fed hay to the cows with a Belarus tractor.

There are a number of the older Belarus Tractors here in Canada. They are a very tough old school tractor, but as with anything, they can break. The major problem here is if you need parts, they are almost non existent. Only choice in many cases are salvage yards. If you could find a way to ship parts to people in North America you could make a very good business of it. I would not think twice in buying an older tractor here, but with parts being so very difficult to come by, and order. Many end up in scrape yards, or for parts. I just watched your last video, where you mentioned about the factory tour, and did a search for it. Very nice manufacturing plant. I can tell you any factory here in North America, you would never be allowed to roam around like you were there. Watched many factory tour videos here, hard hats, safety googles, high visibility vest, and steel toe shoes. Along with a strict tour guide, are a must.

i saw in Hungary a 40 year old MTZ Tractor still operating and the engine had only been replaced once ! These machines are not the " luxury" type however, they really do last and last . I know that many of the parts are generic and are from the US, Germany and Italy . Thanks for sharing.....

Fun facts: Belshina is based in Bobruisk, not Gomel; MTZ sponsors a local municipal music school.

Impressive! Good comments also! How do MTZ tractors compare to western-made tractors, for example John Deere? By the way, Belshina tyres are made in Bobruysk.

In Canada, I am currently rewiring a 1988 572. I don't blame the problems on the tractor, but more it's previous owner(s) and their poor attempts at repairs. The more I get to know the machine, the more I am impressed with it. There is some amazing tech without a computer. I can't do a lot of comparisons, but all those I have talked to say they are just as good or better than any domestic tractor.

They are crude but relatively well built , dollar for dollar farther ahead but not as comfortable a day in there cabs, also pain in ass getting parts from Europe especially now with war I would think

So you visited the factory.. I went to there but they sent me to that stupid museum on the right (facing the gate). Is there a specific day/time to visit the factory or i can simply get there asking the lady to let me get in? Thanks!

So,a question please.. With such big industry, (and there are many other too,in different areas) how you explain the fact that they have such big poverty?? Perhaps incompetent muzhik politicos?? And their cronies?? Thanks.
