I should mention that I have some good friends from Belarus, but however if you live in Belarus for long time as an person from Iran or other middle east countries, you will hate this country and most of people and feel racism and discrimination. Dzmitry Viazhevich п....ц - это вечно ноющие недопатриоты, которые уже обосрали Беларусь на весь мир. Я жила и в Беларуси и в Скандинавии, и особой разницы в уровне жизни не заметила, высокие зарплаты в Финляндии полностью нивелируются заоблачными ценами. Единственная ощутимая разница - скандинавы с любовью презентуют свою страну, любой водоём восхваляя до уровня чуда-дивного (в частности фины), и уважают сельский труд. А отдельно взятые беларусы под любым видео, особенно англоязычным, распевают как всё хуёво, минимум Нигерия и только бы никто колхозником их не назвал. Таких людей меньшинство, но это меньшинство самые активные в сети и создают негативный образ страны. Надоел ужасный Минск? Посетите современную Европу, например Брюссель, который засрали полностью, буквально уничтожили культуру, посмотрите на толпы бомжей и эмигрантов, боясь ночью из дома выйти. Достали уже, честное слово.

@Warrior ZX In France massive extra-european immigration began in 1970-80, before it was only European immigration (Italian, polish mainly between two world wars). European population is not European anymore since it accepted massive extra-european immigration (especially African one). And yes France invaded African countries but it only bring them in Europe during the World war 2 for landing in Provence, then they were brought back to their country, only few stood in France ... And then, when the world has stabilized economically (Europe especially) it decided to accept refugees especially because European population is getting older and older and to balance the fact that a lot died.. And to qualify European population : it is mostly white, that's how you distinguish them. Now in western Europe it's changing..

Great vid. I'm Belarusian living in Minneapolis. Lived in Minsk from 1997-2000. I miss it. Should mention that I've been to many countries, and Minsk is in top 3 cleanest cities in the World in my opinion. You mentioned Tokio was clean, I would disagree, I have been there in October 2018 and there were many rats running on the streets. Have never seen even a little mouse in Minsk :) Zhive Belarus!

I'm not Belarusian but lived in Minsk for a year and I'm so happy to see this video and that people actually enjoy this wonderful city that is so underrated ! I miss it so much and hope I can go back there soon. For the info, the graffiti/art street is actually part of an art project between Belarus and Brazil, it's called Vulica Brasil and it's really cool, almost every summer during one month, artists come and create new art all over the city and many things are organized for the occasion, it's really cool !

When I was living in Germany and London I wanted to visit Minsk but kept getting fed bad information about how dangerous it was for an American. As you said in your video, it looks cleaner, more modern and more beautiful than most of western Europe and much of the states I visited. I would love to go one day, really looks beautiful.

Man, you won't believe how clean, well maintained Minsk is. Its the safest country in Europe, you can enjoy your meals, cocktails, nice friendly people, no homosexuality, no illegal immigrants. Ok its not the richest place on earth but at the end of day I prefer it rather than western societies full of illegal immigration, homosexuality, shootings and killings. Its just a matter of preferance, there is no paradise.

If you have an american passport you don't even need a visa to get to minsk. You can stay there up to 30 days without a registration but if you want to stay more than 5 days you should fill up online registration form which takes like 5 minutes. The only limitation with the visa-free traveling to belarus is that you should come there to Minsk airport directly, if you will go by train or car or smth you still need a visa.

Смотреть подобное видео коренному минчанину крайне приятно, но и поучительно. Живя в подобном городе, ко многому относишься как к должному, не обращаешь внимания ни на людей, ни архитектуру. Иностранец видит все это иначе. Он как лакмус, может и увидит, а главное, красиво покажет то, что находится рядом с тобой, на то, что ты внимания не обращаешь, зажжет интерес, желание пройтись, проехаться по красивым местам родного города, где можно открыть для себя много нового, хотя ты думал, что тут уже все видел и знаешь, и ничто уже не сможет тебя удивить. Don't know how many times you have been in Minsk. I have been there a few times and I have never seen violence in the city. Of course things can happen if you show that you have 50.000$ on you (I have seen a Japanese tourist putting 50.000€ in my face to buy a gum for a few cents in Copenhagen, Denmark) or if you trade with drug dealers. But compared to what I have seen in the USA and many western european countries like the UK, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Hungary etc it is super safe. This also compared to that the city has the size of Manchester or Houston. If you are active political, kiss as gays on the street or are none white the storry might be different - but many afroamericans living in Russia/Belarus feel more accepted than in the USA

And safety is normally measured by crime - not by people opposing the regime. As I dont know how many none caucasian you have been talking with in Belarus. Again to repeat my self many afroamerican living there do not feel as bad as they do in the USA. Many Bengali feel better treated in Minsk than in South East Asia. I am not saying there are problems. Just that none-caucasian today feel safer there If I go by the parameter of Racisim there is no country I can go to. The EU court was just accused for racism this week

Приехал в Минск по работе спустя пару месяцев после турпоездки в Париж (сам из Ростова). Я просто обалдел от увиденного!! Вообще не ожидал от города ничего подобного! Знакомым говорю, что Минск произвёл большее впечатление, чем французская столица, а они пальцем у виска крутят)) И отдельно упомянуть стоит гостиничный сервис! Жил в 4* (напротив Палаца незалежности), в сравнении с хвалёным Монпарнасом смело можно сверху звезду накинуть! В общем рекомендация к посещению as a must!👍

Really nice video of Minsk Peter. It's really useful that you can use a platform like KZbin to show people first hand experience of what a city like Minsk is like. It's really a shame that in the media in the UK and USA etc... that places like Belarus and othesr get de-humanised and generally people believe these places are hell holes on earth. When clearly your video shows what the city is really like and how open and friendly they really are and all the interesting places to see in the city are. I think I'd like to visit Minsk myself now after watching the video. Good job.

I was there for 2 days,. I agree with you100% beautiful clean safe city. Was there because I met a Belarus woman and plan on bringing her back to the United states. The worst part of my trip to Belarus is the flight from Miami to Austria. 11 hour flight. For me there is nothing negative to say about Belarus.

@Mor Dor I do not agree with you. Mr. Bald’s channel has a lot of completely different people from different countries. It is clear that the basis is residents of post-Soviet countries and Indians, but there are many others (of different ages). Its content is something unusual. I think this is the main reason for success. Peter makes very high-quality content, but he also needs to communicate more with local people and sometimes do something stunning. I was there last April and I agreed with a lot of what you said. It's a great place! I don't think you mentioned it but the food is really nice too. Belarus more open to receiving tourists now, since they allowed a 30-day visa upon arrival to a bunch of western countries. Worth checking the government website on this for more details. Your video captured the city really well. Congrats!
