I can't believe the comments I'm reading. The drummer is playing it the way he's been instructed to play it and he's killing it (in a good way). Its called making the song LIVE the groove never left and his pocket was still right on. The lead singer who's name I can't remember at the moment) is a drummer and an INCREDIBLE one at that, he has had the best drummers in the world play for him, you think he wouldn't have one of the best back there right now? Come on. This song is still awesome, its just old now but don't take credit from them. Musicians stay employed by doing playing what there instructed to play and they drummer did his job.

If u r not a musician squash it....they killed it in a good way and the drummer was the shiznit.We can listen to the cd version at home....This is live and a time to show their musical artistic abilities and shine.....So if you cannot handle live performances then stay home and listen to the cd instead of griping about these brothas with skills..Any amateur can do a song verbatim but a real artist always reinvents themselves and that is what M.C. did in this performance. I wish I could buy the songs they did at the 930 Club on mp3.

These guys came to South Carolina and I did not go. About a month ago, I bought their greatest hits CD. Been freaking out at how good it is. Real pissed that I was too stupid to make the show. All of you who feel the drummer is out the pocket are wrong . That is flat out fantastic. His timing is impeccable. Better yet, why don't you take your no playing, jealous asses and get a gig. Play some music and see how hard that is to do. You might learn to appreciate something different!!

I just heard this song for the 1st time about week ago. I absolutely love this version, I think it is gorgeous. It is. But to all the people complaining, I do understand why. I know how it is to hear a song you love the exact same way for YEARS, fall in love with that version, then hear it different. I have also disliked different versions of songs for that reason, which in all fairness were probably good, but I was biased towards the original version. That is all that is going on here. Both people who love and hate this version have legitimate reasons for feeling that way. There is no reason to be rude, or disrespectful to someone else because of their opinion.

Wanna know one of the main reasons the band was so smokin' that night? NO CELLPHONES in the audience! The crowd was offering their full attention; as a result, that magnetic energy and positivity gives the band fuel and inspiration. When the audience isn't engaged in the process of the art form, the band just phones it in. I guarantee ya that if everyone had their phones in the air, Mint Condition would not have given as great of a performance.
