Mint’s “unlimited “ plan for 30 bucks a month is a ridiculous deal in my opinion I don’t need all the free stuff. I like it, don’t get me wrong T mobile Tuesdays are awesome to wake up to, but when I can save about half the cost for Mint versus T mobile for essentially the same service there aren’t a lot of downsides to me. I did Mint’s free 7 day trial to see how the signal strength compared and it was almost identical, with mint actually getting better service( which was weird) versus T mobile.

I think you and many people are looking at this the wrong way. Any connection getting a solid, reliable, 100mb/sec+ down is going to handle what 90%+ of the public uses their phones for without issue. Knowing that, the conversation then turns to what each service costs where Mint obviously shines. Its like driving a Ferrari or a Honda Accord in traffic. The Ferrari has crazy performance specs, but the less sexy Honda will accomplish the job just as well (given the scenario) while saving the owner a couple hundred grand. Deprioritization is the only thing that can screw up that equation, but I've seen very little of it most of the time on my Mint account.
