PRO TIP: Instax Film Deals: It helps to look around and buy in bulk. Generally, the 60 image value pack is your best bet for the lowest pricing. It only contains the plain white borders but is normally the cheapest around 58 cents per shot, or $5.80 per 10pack.

PRO TIP: Instax SQUARE can be found for about 87-91 cents per sheet regularly. I have found some of the best deals for you here. Make sure to look around and divide the price of the film by the number of sheets. If you are paying more than 91 cents each, you are paying too much!

PRO TIP: Don’t buy the camera bundled with film or accessories. You will usually overpay!

If you take instant photography seriously, and you want polaroid, then this is the camera for you. Fully manual. F12-64. 30 seconds all the way to 1/125. Portrait and standard lens selection. POLAROID FILM:
PRO TIP: Get the right film. Vintage cameras use 600-TYPE Film. If you have a Polaroid camera you got from your grandmother or at the thrift store, it uses 600-TYPE film. If you have a new Polaroid camera, it uses I-TYPE film. If you have a Polaroid camera that folds flat, it uses SX-70 TYPE Film.
Polaroid 600 and SX-70 film is more expensive than the I-Type film because the cartridges have batteries in the packs of film to power the cameras. Your best bet when buying polaroid is to buy the official bulk packs.

I had my TL70 for 1.5 years and recently the film started jamming. I haven't seen anyone else struggle with this so I looked up some solution for other instant cameras and emailed Mint. I'll update when I figure out a solution!

@@RobertHamm changing the batteries fixed it! it was weird because the battery light indicator never went on. that was what Mint suggested to me too. I'm glad it was a simple fix though!

That's a common problem on Polaroid cameras but not on Instax. What happens is the rollers press the film as it goes out and there could be come chemical residue on the rollers. You can clean the rollers using a +70% alcohol and q tips but I don know if you can access the rollers since I don't own the TL70. Did you fix the problem?

Hey Robert! I wanted to ask if you could help me with my Instaflex! My issue is that after loading in a new cartridge of film and pressing the eject button to get the first black slot out nothing comes out and I am totally freaking out! Is this an issue that you or someone else has come across before? If not do you know who I might be able to contact or should I just bring it into a camera shop and see if they can fix it?

Hello. Regarding measuring focus distance this is not correct. I've actually asked specifically about this directly to Mint via an email. The correct measurement distance from subject to the camera it is indeed to the lens, not the film plane. Congrats to your great videos and tips.
