PRO TIP: Instax Film Deals: It helps to look around and buy in bulk. Generally, the 60 image value pack is your best bet for the lowest pricing. It only contains the plain white borders but is normally the cheapest around 58 cents per shot, or $5.80 per 10pack.

POLAROID FILM:
PRO TIP: Get the right film. Vintage cameras use 600-TYPE Film. If you have a Polaroid camera you got from your grandmother or at the thrift store, it uses 600-TYPE film. If you have a new Polaroid camera, it uses I-TYPE film. If you have a Polaroid camera that folds flat, it uses SX-70 TYPE Film.
Polaroid 600 and SX-70 film is more expensive than the I-Type film because the cartridges have batteries in the packs of film to power the cameras. Your best bet when buying polaroid is to buy the official bulk packs.

The Mini90 has bulb mode and multiple exposure mode, both of which are nice features not always found in point-and-shoots. Does the TL70 have those modes? It would have been nice if your video had actually compared features rather than just touting the more expensive camera.

+Elysian Dreams Does the mini 90 offer free film for life? Does the mini 90 offer 1/500 sec shutter? Doed the mini 90 offer apertures of f5.6 or f8? Does the mini 90 allow the user to choose the aperture they want? Does the mini 90 offer aperture priority manual mode with exposure compensation? It would have been really nice if you knew anything about the TL70 before writing your comment.

wow I was just raising some concerns with your video but I guess you don't welcome feedback. No doubt the TL70 is a superior camera but is it worth 3 or 4 times as much? How about showing some side-by-side comparisons of image quality?

It seemed like you were saying I was biased to a more expensive camera for no particular reason. I'm sure that you were well aware of the benefits such a more expensive camera would offer. Unless you weren't, because that's the only reason you would write your comment in the first place. As for comparisons... I've made over 50 videos about the TL70 and about 30 on the Mini 90. How about you head over to my playlist and find the examples you're looking for? It's sad that content creators make so much stuff but people never bother to look for it before writing a comment.

The mint camera allows for double, triple, quadruple exposures as the camera requires operator to manually expell film. More possibilities.

+Sun and D-970 Hi Sun. Yeah, the TL70 has a high price. It is an investment, but it is also a more refined piece of hardware. Plus the Free prints... On the other hand, the Mini 90 is Fujifilm's top camera in the Instax Mini line. It's a handy little thing and quite capable in it's own way. You just won't be taking any photos with a lot of bokeh. +Wendy dune Hi Wendy. You will like wither one, but I'd you are the kind of person that wants to push everything you do to the limits, then the TL70 will give you that freedom. There is a steeper learning curve, but it's worth the effort. I'm glad you done the videos helpful. Thanks Robert, ever since I watched Vivian Maier on Netflix, Ive been wanting a Rolleiflex camera, and mint condition is pretty high priced if you want a decent one, so I may have to purchase the TL70 instead. :)

Hi Catherine- Guess what? Mint Camera just partnered with Rollei to improve the TL70. They are launching the new Rolleiflex Instant on Kickstarter tomorrow for $336 USD! The new model will have improvements over the TL70 2.0 edition. I'm excited. I can't wait to get one. Keep your eye out on Kickstarter!

Thanks for telling me about the new Rolleiflex new version coming out. I've been going back and forth on which instant camera to buy. I have a Polaroid Land Camera 440, a SX70 Sonar, and last a Instax mini 90. I'm not too keen on the way the Instax works, with no control over the flash and no forcing, that's a bummer, but I guess we can't expect too much from it, since it's an instant camera. I love my Sonar SX70, but the film is pretty horrible, unless I got a bad batch from The Impossible Project, because everything I shoot, no matter what the settings, has this blueish tink to it, which is not good. I then have to take my photo into photoshop and tweak the color to make it right. If you know of a place to get better film for the SX70 Sonar, that would be great. Im looking to buy the new Rolleflex TL70, that you had mentioned, and see how i like that.

I have the mini 90 neo classic, but the mint TL 70 camera will be my next. I do not necessarily subscribe to the neoclassic being a point and shoot camera, for it still requires thinking and distance considerations before shooting. Both cameras are for creatives; if one wants point and shoot go for the Instax 8.
