Mint Will NOT Join VShojo, And Here's Why:

The most important thing right now is that she's having fun, and that's all that matters, you know?
It's certainly unexpected to see a new upload here. I'll slowly come back to this channel with mostly non-holo clips, although they'll be present sometimes. At the moment don't expect constant activity, but it's much better than to have this channel be completely inactive.

Luna debuted over 4 years ago and the Hololive/Nijisanji situation is vastly different than what it was back then - NijiEN didn't even exist until over a year after she defected. Also, while I'm not as familiar with NijiJP, I'm guessing that Moruru wasn't exactly the #1 most popular member Niji had at the time. Pomu was the foundational talent of NijiEN, she was their Gura. For her to jump ship due to feeling neglected and unsupported, the company implodes into vicious controversy mere weeks later, and then she suddenly shows up as a Hololive recruit? It doesn't get much more embarrassing than that.

While Gunrun would probably welcome her in if she changes her mind, let's not forget her now infamous "I was denied the collab of a lifetime" moment. An event like that? I can see how it'd make her not want corpo backing of any kind for a while for one. For two, she's still bound by black corpo's bullshit noncompete clause which ends at the end of this coming summer, meaning she can't join any corpos even if she wants to right now.

It doesn't; vtuber clips are loaded with clickbait. That being said, we can reasonably make guesses as to why; 1) Past experiences; if you've been paying attention to what she's said as deerskin Company N left a very clear mark on her, and not in a good way. I doubt it's as bad as Sayu's PTSD, but there definitely seems to be some trauma there. Joining another corporation while she's still very much doubting herself as a vtuber is likely something she's not thinking about. 2) Poor fit; nothing against Vshojo and the girls (including Kuro), but they aren't exactly the content creators that Mint is. Mint is very *very* much into idol stuff - singing, dancing, live performances, etc etc. Vshojo is primarily just gamers; that's not to say they *can't* do those things, but that's not their focus. 3) Both of those things together; I mean, honestly, it's probably a mix of the two.

Although Mint might not believe it herself, but I think she would be able to join any company she wanted. She has friends in vshojo and in hololive and can do anything that is required by both of them. She could also just stay indie and do whatever she wants, because she already has a big audience. So many possibilitys open for her now!

It's a psychological thing. Niji messed her up big time to the point where she doesn't think that highly of herself (she seemed to have thought that of herself for a while, but Niji just made it worse), and now she needs time to truly realize why she enjoys vtubing in the first place. She'd do just fine, but she doesn't seem to be ready to accept that fact yet. Just wait until the end of Summer, and by then I think she'll have made up her mind

@@Gloomby1 There's not only that but I bet you that both the twins and Kiara pitched her to audition for HoloEN Gen 4. Thing is there is practically no guarantee that she'll get accepted. She wants to be an idol, but in reality while the Holomems call themselves that for marketing purposes, they don't act like, they don't even vaguely act seiso. Yagoo goes based on market forces and what is trending so her skills may not even be what they want. On the other hand, Vshojo would accept her now, immediately. But while she would be good for Vshojo, there is very little outside of management and legal that they could offer her. She's not sure which way to go and I think she's going to wait it out, this is where the various things of the two agencies cancel each other out and she really doesn't need either one of them anyway. She's probably better off being Indie and putting her own loose group of singers and performers together for cons, much like Bao, Numi and the others are doing.

My guess is once the 6 month non compete is up, and if she is feeling confident continuing that might change. As we saw with Dokibird, running solo as a bigger Indy is a lot of work with a need of back end support. Vshojo offers a lot of independence and ability to retain possession of your assets. I can’t see her graduating as Mint again to go join another company like hololive in three months. Granted if she started at Hololive I highly doubt she would have left.

Alright, going on a hunch but I think she is looking at one last attempt to join Hololive. Her going to japan and now that it has been confirmed that she was there taking Japanese lesson shows she wants to improve her Japanese. Which indicates to me that she looking to make a big splash on the next audition. Pure speculation and copium but it is not outside the realm of possibility. Just doesnt make sense that she would not join Vshoujo because it has Matara and Henya in there without a logical reason From a resume point of view, she is very impressive. It is hard to find anyone with this much streaming experience that understand Japanese culture and has actually worked in another Japanese vtuber company. She is also fully controversy free and has shown great work ethics.

i think everyone wants mint to pursue to hololive, but i know like Luna is previously a niji member so it's a possibility. But cause the current drama and avoidance between holo and niji it would be a massive incoming slander or news to holo en for about a month minimum. So if it's true, holo should be really ready and prepare if mint is actually wanna join. But mint herself really doesn't need that if she took a 'doki' route cause she is already a successful vtuber for just being indie. What about your tech? 3D? sponsor? manager? Even she herself understand the daunting effort need to be successful indie. What Doki got will never happen again. There is no way Mint is going to get 400k in 2 days. Why would her joining holo be any problem? She has no real drama associated with her. She is pretty loved by the EN side. Taking her in would solidify that hololive are the "good" guys saving an abused victim from nijisanji.
