do you have any proof you're not tracing this? all of your videos start with the sketch and every comparison i've done lines up completely with the photo. if you can post a video of you doing a sketch to that degree of accuracy it would be believable, but together with your colorpicking i find it really hard to believe you don't trace all of your sketches.

Carolyn Lu As I've said many times on this channel, the reason I leave out the sketches is because they're messy and unprofessional and would be honestly quite embarrassing to put on the internet. Many speedpainters on KZbin leave the sketch out of their videos. It's simply a way of controlling the length and quality of the video, and in my case, a way to keep the video uniform and pretty because OCD 😂 And in regards to the eyedropper tool, soooo many digital artists do that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with colorpicking, as long as I'm not trying to convince you I don't colorpick, which clearly I am not doing. Just because I choose to utilize a tool that so many digital artists use as well does not imply that I am more likely to trace. The fact that you think I'm not only tracing but lying about it, and to the extent that you would take time out of your day to do manual comparisons of my sketches is actually kind of insulting. (Although I certainly hope they line up, I do spend quite a bit of time on them 😂) I'm not mad at you personally, I'm just frustrated, so please don't think I'm trying to be rude! But, I am going to start recording my sketches and redo my old sketches (because unfortunately I never recorded them in the first place) and make a big mashup video with them.
