Silly question but for someone doing projects solo how do you hold the string taut and still be able to mark the spots to make sure it’s even. I struggle with this as well as drilling and then find that there is metal on one side and not the other so it’s no longer balanced and even. I also mess up with anchors sometimes. I’m an apartment I can’t afford to keep drilling holes in all the walls to practice, fix, or check to see what’s behind it! Lol

Great tutorial except one thing. You didn't teach how to calculate how high to hang the rod based on the length of and type of the curtains. That can screw up the whole deal! Lol

The curtain rod brackets you install in the video hold two rods . One for the sheer and one for the curtains. The link to purchase them on Amazon is only for a single rod. Also the curtains appear to be different.
