Nice hunting especially those X-men 1's. With a 9.8 those can fetch 200 easy! Also I thought you were crazy for letting a 9.6 or X-men 100 but that Green Lantern haul is ridiculous! Awesome pickups! But that Swamp Thing is absolutely freaking awesome!

That Swamp Thing 7 is beautiful but those cover wraps kill me. Having the white from the back rolled over the edge drives me crazy. I settled on completing a set of 1 - 10 in 9.2 or better b/c it was becoming a pain in the ass to find 9.6+ copies with good wraps.

It's a TOUGH cover miswrap - It's almost a full centimeter. Luckily CGC doesn't dock for that since it's a printing issue.

Nice pickups! I gave up on my full GL run completion a few years ago when I had to sell my Showcase 22 to fund a huge chuck of missing Bronze Marvel books. I kept the GL books, however, but I only have the keys like 40, and 59, and then scattered issues up until the 76-224 run. You are really making me want to start looking for Silver GLs again though ..

@@MintHunterComics It was a really cool book to own. Mine was about 2.5 3.0 and I got it back in '90 or '91 along with Showcase 24 (which I sold a long time ago) for about $125. Preeeetty sure I couldn't do that now! LOL Ah well. Like I said, it funded a huge chunk of Bronze Marvels I was missing so I'm okay with it. Maybe you'll snag one eventually!

Flea Markets are the best place for me to find those harder to find books for my collection. Very nice trade. I find that most non Batman DC books have undervalued keys. First Sinestro though. Wow.

Hit the fleemarket about 2 weekends ago got a longbox with over 100+ comics for 35$ Half of em were Gerard Jones run on green lantern along with some JLA, Firestorm,Steel, Got 3 copies of xforce #18 still packaged in poly bag and 1 #17 still in polybag aswell

Weirdly enough I have been scoring pretty good at 2nd and Charles for their last 80s and 90s books because their books are always $2 and many times they have a buy 5 get 5 free

2nd & Charles can be full of awesome finds 👍 that's where I got my first Uncanny X-Men #137. It ended up being a CGC 9.4 or 9.2, I can't remember which (sold it right before covid hit & haven't found another one since 😭), but buying it raw at 2nC I only paid $10 for it. It was a "showcase" book. I'm getting back a huge CGC box soon (20+ books) so I'm holding off on The Hunt the next few weeks.

Usually tables that have comics stacked without plastic covers have Gold Mines they just want to get rid of them they don't care if they have value i found some nice 60's comix that way and even the 1st app of Spider Woman..
