Thank you! I originally composed this song as an instrumental number. jenny01 then added her vocals on the track, which was released as "New Season." Later, I made a self-cover of the instrumental music and released it as "Lemon Elegy." So, I could say that both songs are cover versions of the same instrumental track.

It's fun to focus on the good soloing, isn't it? I’ve been a long-time jazz listener. Mostly I am not so conscious of it, but I guess jazz-oriented music (composition, arrangement, and the way they improvise) might be my source of inspiration. Also, Brasilian popular music in the ’70s is another influence on me.

Though it may not be the answer you wanted, the gif was chosen as the mood seemed right. I mean, it had nothing to do with the song at first. However, I remembered afterward that there is the word “dancing” (in Japanese) in the lyrics. So it is connected. It can be said it’s just a coincidence or an unconscious choice.

Different drummers for different songs, but the guy for this tune is Mr.Tetsuya Hoshiyama. Interestingly, he is a hard-rock drummer, although he is also good at Brazilian grooves.
