When I was a kid, I snuck onto the old Yankee Flyer streamliner when it was at Eadaville Railroad. I think I was around 9 or ten. That thing fascinated me. I grew up two towns over from Eadeville and my birthday is in July so my mom always took me there for my birthday. I loved it. Went every summer up untill they closed and got rid of the trains. Would still go now if it were like before.

Thank you for all these wonderful historical videos. I'm 77 and from Hudson, MA. I saw the last steam train go through to Cinton when I was 8 or 9. Then it was Alco RS3's and Budd cars. The local freight had SW 1227 and delivered to Berlin and Marlboro. We had 8 passenger trains daily on the Central branch. I also remember seeing a gas buggy once or twice on the 10 a m. from Clinton to Boston. Your videos are educational and enjoyable. Thanks again!

Wonderful presentation, as always. I learned a lot. Thank you! ps I believe Consolidation 2403 was a class K-7, not a K-8.

A few road bridges over the ROW existed until the early 2000’s. If I had been smarter I would have documented it in the Henniker area

I enjoy your videos, however it makes me sad that so many train lines were abandoned.
