The scene with the princess is what makes this different from a lot of action movies, I've seen a lot with similar scenes where the hero saves or has some interaction with a beautiful woman who offers to show her gratitude 😏, but usually the hero moves on and we never go back to the girl or he'll try to get back to her only to be sidetracked and nothing happens, so when Egsy ask if he'll get a kiss and she offers more I wasn't surprised and didn't expect to go back to her even though later he does go back to cash in the offer only to find the door locked, still not surprised and expected the scene to move on, but getting the code and hooking up with the princess was something I wasn't expecting and enjoyed, not because he hooked up, but because it was different, I honestly thought the movie would have him get together with Roxy because that's what usually happens, the hero gets with the girl who joins him on his journey.

I've seen both movies and read the comics. This movie is probably the best story wise. The second movie I like just as much if not more because of Statesman (won't say any more because of spoilers). The comics are much worse. I've not seen the prequel film yet but that's out now as well.

my short attention span makes it so hard for me so watch any movie that i am not COMPLETELY in awe of because i get so painfully bored. but these make it possible for me to kinda “see” all the new and popular movies, or just get an idea of what they’re about and who’s in them. just so i can still participate in discussions about them. there’s a lot of channels that do this sort of thing, but you’re definitely my favorite! you summarize things pretty well, great editing and you know when to speak and when to let a clip play. and your punchlines aren’t just blatantly ignorant and problematic, which is more than i can say for a few movie critics/summarizers. i appreciate your work, keep it up!! :))
