zionic8 4:18 you only have to look at the reaction & confusion amongst the Poms to realise that the call was not right. Half were clapping the other half rubbing their forehead thinking they had just lost. Their reaction was priceless and unconvincing. My favorite moment out of the whole tournament was when Burgess kneels down and pats Fafita on the head and says "Sorry mate we've just robbed you out of a final".

Dan M - I think Tongans are very gutted about the last minute and the ref's decision. We aren't really fans like other "fans" in that to some degree we are all inter-related to each other and to the players. So the fact that players like Fifita are left sobbing at the end of it hurts as if it was a family member .... hence the marches in Auckland ... and Tongans venting on social media. These players who opted to play for Tonga for $30 will end up ahead in the long run. Quite sure that for the rest of their lives and possibly their descendants - they will get $$ from random Tongans on the street. As for the English team - I have tickets to a final that I am boycotting. All the best to them. They seem lovely. 😁😁🤗

Actually I just remembered something .... the hymn that was sung at the end and all of the hymns sung were actually translated/composed by an Englishman by the name of Egan Moulton. He was a missionary back in the 1800s with obviously great linguistic ability. Translated the Bible.. made new hymns and translated older hymns into Tongan. That's why when the English fans sang Guide me I though Great Jehovah (bread of heaven) Tongans joined in lol.... still hurts but all good

This could have been one of the most wonderful and memorable game, but when you watch the actual game, try to count how many times England gets the ball in the first half, forcing the Tongan team to play way more defense than England. Pay attention to the crap calls by the ref and you will start to see that there was no way a Tier-Two team was going to be allowed to make it to the FINALS. Tongan team knew this bias and started to get frustrated! Who wouldn't??? Not hating and not blaming England either. This is something much bigger than that! The RLIF already determined the outcome before the game started. SIMPLE AS THAT. #Good Luck to England and nothing but love for the English gentlemen....but this game was rigged and it had nothing to do with England.
