Mio, Miko and Subaru solve(?) viewers' and Hololive members' problems

The trio roleplay as silly characters while hosting a consultation session for viewers… until other Hololive members came in with their problems!
The Fairy of the Forest of Overexaggeration and Detective Miko try their best to hold back Mio, who’s out for blood today. But will even an unhinged Mio dare to take a bite out of..?

1) 0:48 Miko chose her name as a parody of Detective Conan. The characters used in the Japanese version for his title are: 名探偵（meitantei), or famous detective. Miko picked homophones:　迷探偵 (meitantei) The difference is that while 名 is associated with "fame", "incredible", "being outstanding", 迷 is more like "a maze", "confusion", "trouble". Basically, her nickname beocmes "a confused detective". I decided to go with "Defective" instead. Similarly, during the stream, a lot of viewers joked about Miko's deductions being 迷推理 (questionable deduction) instead of 名推理 (incredible deduction). The song she keeps singing is the theme song of Conan, and a lot of the phrases she says, such as "There is only one truth always!" or "You're the criminal!" are references to the show as well. 2) 0:55 Conan's full name is Edogawa Conan. His first name is a portmanteau of two famous writers'. The first writer is Edogawa Ranpo, who played a large part in Japanese mystery fiction. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edogawa_Ranpo The second writer is Conan Doyle, who is the creator of Sherlock Holmes. Edogawa in kanji is 江戸川. The last character 「川」 means "river", "stream". Edogawa can be interpreted as "River Edo". Miko went with 多摩川 (Tamagawa), the Tama River. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tama_River 3) 1:39 Mio's title is 痛烈なド畜生 (tsuuretsu na dochikusho). Her name is 畜神 ミオ (Chikugami Mio). This is likely a play on the word 畜生 (chikusho) in Japanese, which you may have heard being said before. It's like "shit!" or "damn it!". It can also meaning a wild beast, or a callous person. Her title literally reads: Scathingly extreme son-of-a-bitch Her name was derived by replacing the first character of her first name, so instead of 大神 (Ookami, "Big God") it now reads 畜神 (Chikugami, "Wild Beast God"). 4) 2:30 Subaru's title is 盛り妖精 (mori yousei). Her name is 大盛スバル (Oomori Subaru). I'm not actually sure how many layers of puns Subaru intended, but her name has three meanings. Her introductory sentence is: From the おおもり of もり, I come: おおもり Subaru. もり (mori)　can be read in different ways. Resultingly, you can interpret the first おおもり as 大森 (lit. large forest, also the name of a district in Tokyo), the second もり as 森 (lit. forest), and the third おおもり as 大盛 (lit. a large serving or portion, but has a slang meaning of hamming up and fabricating things you say, for the purposes of, for example, a more entertaining story). Putting this all together, Subaru's role is making fun of her tendency to have exaggerated and entertaining reactions, teasing her for playing things up for the stream. Her title can then be read as: The Fairy of Overexaggeration, and her name as "Overexaggerator Subaru". However, that was too long to be consistently putting in subtitles, so I went with romaji instead. 5) 6:53 Miko is referring to drawing the character for people, 「人」 on your hand, and then pretend to "swallow" it before something nerve-wracking, like a speech. It's a cute little ritual that you might see Aqua doing. 6) 15:57 Mio rebutts Miko by calling her a Kappa - a river child. They appear in Japanese folklore. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kappa_(folklore) 7) 16:29 Miko calls "the people of Edo" slow in the head by euphemism. The actual phrase she uses is "takes some time". As to why Subaru, Mio, and the chat react so violently afterward, I'm not 100% sure on this, but believe it's because Miko wanted to explain why she didn't have many good arguments during the stream, and tried to play it off as, somehow, the fault of Edogawa Conan. She might have been making fun of the people of Edo as a joke (Edo was the old name of Tokyo 200 years ago), or the people of Edogawa as a joke (in this case, Edo as a shorthand for Edogawa, one of the wards of modern Tokyo. If anyone has a better explanation for this, please feel free to reply. 8) 17:09 Miko again talks about wanted to go back to the Tama river, and "become Tama-chan". If you recall before, she referred to herself as Goma-chan, pet seal in the manga Shounen Ashibe. She started getting confused between that and another seal, Tama-chan, another seal which showed up on the riverbanks of River Tama in 2002. Thanks for the translation. That's quite a long one and with extra effect as addition. Savage Mio is really unbridled with casualties right and left lol. And Miko doing Pon with her deduction losing their way. Mio once told about a room in hololive office(?) that's used for crunch by holomem that's on deadline. Wonder if Miko and Subaru has been subjected to that as their reaction to "procrastinate" topic is quite massive.
